Pricing questions.
- What counts as an order? +
- A confirmed, paid checkout. One basket is one order, however many competitions and tickets are in it: 5 tickets in one competition is one order, and a basket with tickets in three competitions is one order too. Orders paid with wallet credit count the same as card payments. Unpaid checkouts, free and postal entries, and test orders are not charged.
- Is VAT included? +
- No VAT is charged. The monthly fee is £59, the per-order fee is 10p and the optional setup package is £795, with nothing added. If your business is VAT-registered, speak to your accountant about how to account for it.
- Is there a minimum contract length? +
- No. Your subscription is month to month. Cancel at any time and your site stays active until the end of your current billing period.
- What does done-for-you setup include? +
- Tick it when you subscribe. You send us your logo, brand colours and business details from your dashboard, we build your site, homepage and pages, and you review it and accept it or ask for changes. If you decide not to accept the finished site, you are entitled to a 70% refund of the setup fee. The monthly fee starts when you subscribe, and you can use your dashboard while we build.
- Are there any other costs? +
- Not from RaffleHub. Running a competition business usually also means a payment gateway account (around £600 inc. VAT to set up) and legal advice (typically £800–£1,000 inc. VAT). RaffleHub includes default legal pages written for how the platform works, but take your own advice.
- How do you take payment for the subscription? +
- By card through Stripe, monthly. Your first month is charged when you subscribe, and the 10p per order is added to each monthly invoice.
- Do I need my own payment gateway? +
- Yes. Ticket payments go straight to your Cashflows account (including one shared with another platform) or Paytriot account, so funds land with you, not RaffleHub.
- Is there a free trial? +
- No, but there is no contract either: cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. You can look around a live demo site first, or book a demo.
- What happens to my data if I cancel? +
- Your competition data, customer records and entry history are kept for 30 days after cancellation. You can ask for a full export before then.
